Anyone invited for an interview by the well-known YouTube personality Rick Beato is among the top musicians on the planet. It is Joscho's incredibly precise and virtuoso Gypsy guitar playing that has made him famous worldwide. Joscho now tours the USA so extensively that you might get the impression he's there more often than in Europe. And he's on stage and in the studio with the best of the best. Joscho was invited by George Benson to teach at his guitar camp "Breezin' With The Stars," and he regularly plays with Tommy Emmanuel and Biréli Lagr`ne. John Petrucci has come out as a fan. Joscho has made it. It's high time to congratulate him and interview him here as a guest teacher. He's been demonstrating his ability to be a good teacher for a long time on his online platform gypsyguitaracademy.com and in numerous in-person workshops. I have the pleasure of playing with him as a guitar duo since 2020. Our joint album, which also features many of our own compositions, is titled 'Sundowner.' on it, Joscho demonstrates his impressive versatility and also gives his virtuosity a proper showcase. Don't worry, we're not going to teach you any machine gun 32nd runs in the style of Joscho Stephan. Only he can play those anyway – and that's a good thing. With this guest contribution, Joscho Stephan offers you an introduction to the world of Gypsy Swing.
